Final-assessment integrity boundary
This public page contains review, reflection, correction and portfolio-defense support only. It does not contain confidential final-exam questions, protected answer keys, private grading criteria, authentication material or signing keys. Public Practice Final results remain formative/browser-local; official final evidence requires the approved supervised assessment process.
Purpose and instruction
The portfolio defense should show a progression from early models to more mature evidence-based reasoning. Select artifacts across laboratory/simulation work, quantitative analysis, models, CER writing, genetics, evolution/ecology and the capstone.
A strong defense includes what changed in your thinking, where evidence forced revision, which uncertainties remain and how you learned to distinguish measurement, model and inference.
Student task
- Select 8–10 artifacts spanning the year.
- For each, state the learning target and evidence of growth.
- Include at least two correction artifacts.
- Defend one quantitative model and one investigation.
- Explain one ethical/safety boundary that improved your science.
- Write a final reflection: what can you now do that you could not do in Week 1?
Mastery check
Course completion is strongest when the record preserves both successes and revisions. A portfolio is evidence of learning history, not a polished folder that hides mistakes.
Mentor conference
Archaemenes may challenge concepts, graphs, models, correction reasoning and portfolio explanations. The mentor cannot reveal protected final content or certify an official grade.
Open ArchaemenesEvidence preservation
Save only your own review notes, correction reasoning, portfolio defense and mastery plan in the Week 36 evidence workspace. Do not copy confidential examination items or protected keys into browser storage.
