Use the diagnostic for placement. Require corrections after mastery checks. Midterm and final attempts should follow the evaluator’s stated technology policy. Written work must show definitions, proof or algorithm, edge cases, invariants, complexity where appropriate, and independent verification. Retakes should follow documented remediation and a fresh randomized attempt.
