Assessment Administration Guide

Purpose

Use assessments as evidence of independent reasoning, correction, retention, and readiness. The client-side system is appropriate for home and classroom mastery evidence but is not secure high-stakes testing.

Recommended conditions

• Diagnostic: untimed, calculator only where normally available.
• Unit mastery: 30–45 minutes, 80% target, corrections required.
• Midterm: two sittings permitted; preserve written work.
• Final: supervised when formal credit is intended; require capstone evidence as a separate component.

Accommodations

Provide extended time, reduced-distraction settings, enlarged print, read-aloud support where appropriate, and alternate response methods without changing the mathematical construct.
