Use the diagnostic for placement. Require corrections after mastery checks. Midterm and final attempts should follow the evaluator’s stated technology policy. Written work must identify variables, design, assumptions, uncertainty, effect size, context, and limits. Retakes should use documented remediation and a fresh randomized attempt.
