From observing systems and variational/Kalman methods through hybrid DA, ensembles, calibration, coupled systems and ML-assisted prediction.
HARD GATE: Monday–Friday competencies each ≥80% → required computational evidence complete → weekly synthesis/coding practical ≥80% → six-week qualifying checkpoint ≥80% → semester comprehensive ≥80%.
