Assessment integrity boundary
This page is public review, correction, and portfolio support only. It contains no confidential midterm questions, protected answer keys, private grading criteria, authentication tokens, or signing material. Public practice scores remain formative and browser-local. Official supervised assessment evidence must use the Academy's approved assessment process.
Purpose and instruction
The official midterm is a closed-book supervised assessment under the Academy assessment boundary. Confidential questions and keys do not belong in this public learner repository. The public course portal provides practice only.
Before beginning, verify learner identity, permitted materials, timing, accessibility accommodations, and how responses will be submitted. During the exam, show work on quantitative items, label graphs, distinguish evidence from inference, and answer constructed-response prompts with precise biological reasoning.
Student task
- Review the assessment rules with the supervising adult/educator.
- Prepare only permitted materials.
- Write a personal exam checklist: units, graph labels, CER structure, model limits, and unanswered-item review.
- Complete the supervised midterm through the approved process.
- Record no confidential item text in the public Week 18 workspace.
Mastery and correction check
Official score authority comes from the supervised review process—not from editable browser-local practice results. If the official result is below the 80% mastery target, proceed to documented corrections and reassessment rather than bypassing the gate.
Mentor conference
Archaemenes may help you identify weak concepts, classify an error, improve an explanation, or plan a correction. The mentor may not reveal protected exam content or certify an official score.
Open ArchaemenesEvidence preservation
Save only your own review notes, correction reasoning, portfolio audit, and mastery plan in the matching Week 18 evidence field. Do not copy confidential assessment questions or protected answer keys into browser-local storage.
