KHAEMENES ACADEMY · BIOLOGY 10 · WEEK 18 · DAY 04

Error Analysis & Correction Conference

Turn missed work into evidence of learning by classifying the error, repairing the reasoning, and proving the correction transfers to a new problem.

Assessment integrity boundary

This page is public review, correction, and portfolio support only. It contains no confidential midterm questions, protected answer keys, private grading criteria, authentication tokens, or signing material. Public practice scores remain formative and browser-local. Official supervised assessment evidence must use the Academy's approved assessment process.

Purpose and instruction

Corrections are not simply replacing a wrong answer with a right one. Classify the source of error: vocabulary, concept model, calculation, graph reading, evidence classification, unsupported inference, or incomplete explanation. Then state why the original reasoning failed.

A strong correction has four parts: original misconception/error → corrected principle → worked repair → transfer example. Protected midterm questions should remain within the supervised correction process; public notes should summarize the concept rather than reproduce confidential items.

Student task

  1. For each assigned correction, name the error type.
  2. Write the corrected biological principle in your own words.
  3. Redo the reasoning with the supervising educator as permitted.
  4. Create a new parallel example that proves you can transfer the correction.
  5. Ask Archaemenes to challenge the concept using a fresh public-safe example.

Mastery and correction check

A correction is complete when you can explain why the original approach failed and successfully apply the corrected principle elsewhere. Copying an answer is not mastery evidence.

Mentor conference

Archaemenes may help you identify weak concepts, classify an error, improve an explanation, or plan a correction. The mentor may not reveal protected exam content or certify an official score.

Evidence preservation

Save only your own review notes, correction reasoning, portfolio audit, and mastery plan in the matching Week 18 evidence field. Do not copy confidential assessment questions or protected answer keys into browser-local storage.
