Assessment boundary
This page contains public formative support only. It does not expose protected midterm questions, answer keys, grading logic, or authentication details.
Explicit physics instruction
A strong semester portfolio preserves raw observations, processed data, calculations, graphs, model revisions, uncertainty, and conclusions.
Audit each lab or investigation for data lineage: can a reader trace the conclusion back to raw evidence and stated assumptions?
Missing evidence should be reconstructed only from authentic records; do not invent data to make a portfolio look complete.
Vocabulary: portfolio audit; data lineage; raw evidence; uncertainty; revision history.
Worked example with reasoning
A graph without its raw table is incomplete evidence because the processing cannot be independently checked. Likewise, a final number without units or assumptions cannot be audited well.
Guided question
Choose one earlier investigation and trace its evidence from raw observation to final claim. Where is the weakest link?
Independent work
- Audit at least three mechanics evidence records.
- Flag missing raw data, units, uncertainty, or reasoning.
- Write one repair plan that preserves authentic work.
Misconception check
Portfolio cleanup must not rewrite history or fabricate missing observations.
Formative understanding check
What makes evidence traceable?
Reveal response
Raw data, documented transformations, units, assumptions, and revision history.
Mentor evidence conference
Archaemenes may challenge reasoning and help plan corrections but cannot reveal protected answers or grant official mastery.
Teacher guidance
Foundation: Use a checklist for three records.
Core: Complete a full evidence audit and repair authentic omissions.
Extended: Evaluate how uncertainty propagates through one multi-stage record.
