Assessment boundary
This page contains public formative support only. It does not expose protected midterm questions, answer keys, grading logic, or authentication details.
Explicit physics instruction
The official midterm is closed-book and supervised. Public browser practice may support preparation but does not authenticate mastery or replace the official assessment.
After the supervised assessment, corrections should identify the error type—concept, model choice, algebra, unit, sign, evidence interpretation—and produce a corrected reasoning chain.
Protected questions, answer keys, grading logic, and authentication details do not belong in the learner-facing public repository.
Vocabulary: supervised assessment; correction; error analysis; mastery; protected content.
Worked example with reasoning
A student misses a momentum item because opposite directions were both treated as positive. The correction should identify the sign-convention error, rewrite the signed momentum equation, and explain how the result changes.
Guided question
Why is simply copying a correct final answer weaker than documenting the error type and revised reasoning?
Independent work
- Create an error-category checklist before the assessment.
- After authorized score return, complete one correction per missed concept category.
- Keep protected question text out of public notes unless the educator explicitly supplies an approved paraphrase.
Misconception check
Correction is evidence of learning; it is not permission to expose or reproduce protected exam content.
Formative understanding check
What can a public practice system validly record?
Reveal response
Formative practice performance and corrections, but not authenticated official mastery by itself.
Mentor evidence conference
Archaemenes may challenge reasoning and help plan corrections but cannot reveal protected answers or grant official mastery.
Teacher guidance
Foundation: Use a correction sentence frame.
Core: Classify errors and rewrite reasoning.
Extended: Analyze patterns across multiple errors to plan targeted remediation.
